Post-doctoral associate: Require a Ph.D. degree in biophysics (X-ray crystallography) or biochemistry related fields to study structures and functions of several membrane-bound enzymes and transport proteins. Structural projects involve membrane protein crystallization and de novo structural determination by x-ray crystallography. Strong X-ray analysis skill and synchrotron data-collection experience are required. Functional projects will focus on kinetic analysis of protein dynamics and proteomic analysis of metalloprotein complexes on a genome-wide scale. Experience with protein purification, membrane biochemistry and mass spectrometry is required. For consideration, please send CV, electronic reprints of representative publications, and contact information of three references to [email protected].
Technician: Require a bachelor or master degree in biochemistry related fields with at least one year laboratory experience. Major research responsibilities include mutagenesis, protein expression and purification. Additional duties include managing purchases/receiving and maintaining lab equipment. Good communication skill is important. Interested candidates should send your CV and contact information of three references to [email protected].
